FAQ

Do I need yoga experience? Not at all. All levels are warmly welcome — whether you're completely new to yoga or have an established practice, we adapt sessions to support everyone in the room.

Can I come alone? Absolutely — many of our guests come solo and find it one of the best things about the weekend. It's a warm, welcoming group and friendships form naturally.

What's the weather like in April in Snowdonia? April in Eryri is beautiful — spring is arriving, the landscape is fresh and green, and the mountains are at their most dramatic. Expect changeable Welsh weather, so bring layers and a waterproof. We embrace it as part of the experience.

How do I get there? By car, search "Bryn Llys, Bethesda" in Google Maps — there's plenty of parking on site. By train, travel to Bangor station, from where it's a 12-minute taxi ride. We can coordinate shared taxis with other participants so you can arrive together.

What food is provided, and can you cater for dietary requirements? All meals are prepared by Mandy of Enfys Foods using seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. We cater to all dietary needs — just let us know when you book.

Are there single rooms available? Yes — twin/double rooms have a single supplement option (£35 per night), and Hafan Cottage is available for solo use. Get in touch and we'll find the right option for you.

What should I pack? Comfortable yoga clothes, walking shoes or boots, swimwear (for Llyn Idwal if you fancy a dip!), layers for the evenings, and a waterproof jacket. Full packing list sent after booking.

What's the cancellation policy? A £150 non-refundable deposit secures your place. Cancellations more than 5 months before receive a full refund minus the deposit. Between 3–5 months, 25% refund minus deposit. Less than 3 months, no refund. Full T&Cs apply.

"This retreat in north Wales was magical - a perfect balance of yoga, beautiful nature, hiking, delicious food, good company and rest. I was a bit apprehensive not having tried yoga before but Siôn and the group put me very at ease. I left feeling refreshed and grounded and that sense has stayed with me. Thank you!"

Pippa Grenfell (November 2025)

Had the most incredible yoga retreat in North Wales with a wonderful group!
Siôn created a lovely environment and led the most peaceful yoga & meditation sessions, and even taught me how to headstand! Mandy cooked us the most delicious, home-cooked, whole food meals, including the most amazing sweet treats! The venue was beautiful, cosy on an evening and a stunning outside area for us to relax in the sun. We also went on a hike to Cwm Idwal, where we went swimming and got some amazing views! And a trip to the quarry, where we had lunch by the waterfall. We also had a massage from Tiger, who gave me the best massage I’ve ever received - definitely recommend the holistic massageThis was my first ever yoga trip, I came solo, and I felt so comfortable, everyone made me feel so welcomed, the trip was so well organised, it was amazing to not have to think about anything, so you can fully relax. I can’t wait to join another trip! Thanks for an incredible weekend.
