Take a weekend just for you. As winter starts to fade and spring begins to show, join us for a two-night yoga and mindfulness retreat at Yewfield in the Lake District. This welcoming vegetarian guest house has peaceful gardens, cosy lounges and beautiful views of hills, woods and lakes. It’s the perfect setting to unwind, recharge and feel ready for the months ahead.

Perched on an elevated spot with sweeping views over the Vale of Esthwaite, Lake Windermere, and nearby fells, Yewfield offers total peace and quiet. It’s surrounded by 80 acres of private land, woodland, meadows, and garden paths that lead straight into beautiful walks, including the renowned Tarn Hows. The main house carries a lovely Gothic charm—built in 1859 for the Cowper family—and became a vegetarian guest house in the early 1990s

Daily Yoga & Meditation: Start and end each day with yoga and mindfulness sessions suitable for all levels, designed to help you release tension and regain inner balance.
Walking Trips: Explore the stunning surroundings of Rydal Water and the Lake District with two guided walks. One to the beautiful Rydal caves nearby and another to the village of Grasmere and an optional extended walk to Easdale Tarn.
Seasonal Nourishment: Enjoy warming, wholesome meals catered to all diets, crafted to support your well-being, with ingredients inspired by the Spring season.
Time for Reflection: Relax in the cozy, inviting spaces of Yewfield or take peaceful moments in the beautiful gardens, woodlands and waterfall nearby.
Connection with Nature: Experience the rejuvenating power of nature as you walk among the hills, trees, and waters of the Lake District, fostering a sense of connection and clarity.
Sleep Workshop: Discover how you can use mindfulness and yoga nidra to sleep better with Siôn's signature workshop. You'll gain actionable steps you can take in your life to achieve deep and restful sleep.
Yoga Nidra: Learn about how yoga nidra can promote deep and restful sleep with regular yoga nidra sessions throughout the retreat.

Comfortable Rooms with Character:
Yewfield offers comfortable, welcoming accommodation in its historic building, with rooms that provide picturesque views of the surrounding landscapes. You’ll find 10 individually decorated ensuite rooms in the main house—with tea/coffee stations, and en-suite bathrooms. Whether you choose a shared or private room, you’ll find a peaceful place to rest and unwind after each day’s activities.
Optional extras: Enjoy a Relaxing and rejuvenating massage during your stay.
Additional Information: Please bring your own yoga mats and props. Some can be provided upon request.

Vale View Suite

Retreat T&C's
Ticket prices include a £150 non-refundable deposit. Deposit to be paid on booking to secure your place, with the balance due before 15th January, 2025.
Cancellations less than three months before the retreat arrival date are not entitled to a refund.
Cancellations between three and five months before the retreat arrival date are entitled to a 25% refund, minus the deposit.
Cancellations more than five months before the retreat arrival date are entitled to a full refund, minus the deposit.
Yoga sessions are suitable for all levels. Beginners are very welcome.
